We are currently looking for experienced naval and industrial painters for long-term projects in shipbuilding, offshore, and heavy industry sectors. The tasks include surface preparation, corrosion protection, and painting of metal structures according to the highest quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces: blasting, sanding, degreasing, and filling
- Applying primers, coatings, and paint systems manually or with machines (airless spraying, brush, roller)
- Painting of metal structures, tanks, pipelines, ship hulls, and industrial equipment
- Measuring coating thickness and ensuring compliance with technical specifications
- Working safely with solvents, chemicals, and protective coatings
- Following environmental and safety regulations (VCA, ARBO guidelines)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an industrial or naval painter
- Solid knowledge of paints, surface preparation, and application techniques
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Capable of understanding and following technical instructions
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces
- Willingness to work in shifts or on-site when required
Nice to Have
- VCA certificate (safety at work)
- Category B driving license
- Industrial painting certification or blasting & coating certificates (e.g. NACE, FROSIO or equivalent)
